I. Registration Process<\/strong>
\nYou can register by submitting your abstract by filling out the form listed above.
\nThe submission deadline is the 5st of May, 23:59.
\nYou will receive an e-mail informing you if your abstract is accepted or rejected.
\nIf your abstract is accepted, you will have to send your poster\/oral presentation. Details regarding this process will be contained in the e-mail confirming your acceptance.
\nATTENTION
\nYou must always write your name and the names of your Co-Authors and Coordinators using diacritics. Diagnosis Congress is not responsible for the wrong spelling of names if they were provided without diacritics.<\/p>\n

II. Scientific activity<\/strong>

\n3. Clinical Dental Sciences<\/p>\n

You can submit your paper in one of the following categories:<\/p>\n

-Oral Presentation
\n-Poster presentation.<\/p>\n

Types of papers:<\/p>\n

-Case Report \u2013 can only be presented as a POSTER
\n-Review, Meta-Analysis, Original Research \u2013 can be presented either as a POSTER or an ORAL PRESENTATION<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

III. Paper Submission<\/strong>
\nEach participant may submit a maximum of one paper as the First Author for our competition (whether for Oral or Poster Presentation). We reserve the right to move your paper to a different category from the one it was originally submitted to.<\/p>\n

Each paper can include:<\/p>\n

-1 First Author<\/p>\n

-1-4 Co-Authors<\/p>\n

-At least 1 Coordinator<\/p>\n

As a Co-Author, you can be involved in a maximum of four papers. Co-Authors must be students or early-career professionals, while any senior medical team member, including residents, who supervised your work, must be listed as a Coordinator\u2014not a Co-Author.<\/p>\n

IMPORTANT:
\nThe Diagnosis Congress does not accept papers that have been presented at other scientific events.<\/p>\n

IV. Abstract Structure<\/strong>
\nWhen submitting your paper, you must choose between an ORAL PRESENTATION or a POSTER PRESENTATION.<\/p>\n

IMPORTANT:
\nThe abstract must be written in English.<\/p>\n

Important:<\/p>\n

The word limit is 400 words for Oral Presentation abstracts and 350 words for Poster abstracts. Exceeding this word limit will result in deductions and may lead to rejection.<\/p>\n

Title, author names, subheadings (e.g., Introduction), and keywords do not count toward the word limit.<\/p>\n

Abstracts should not include references (but references are required for the full presentation).<\/p>\n

Avoid including the names of hospitals, cities, or locations to maintain anonymity during the review process.<\/p>\n

Abstract Formatting Guidelines:<\/p>\n

Use Times New Roman, font size 12, with 1.15 line spacing and left alignment.<\/p>\n

List authors and coordinators on separate lines in the order: Name Surname.<\/p>\n

Affiliation numbers should appear as exponents after each name, with affiliations in italic. Example below.<\/p>\n

For medical students, include only the faculty and university; for faculty members, include the discipline, department, faculty, and university. If a Coordinator also works in a medical facility, both affiliations should be listed.<\/p>\n

Do not include academic titles (e.g., MD or Prof. Dr.) in author names.<\/p>\n

Use the subheadings (Introduction, Materials and Methods, etc.) followed by the relevant content on the next line.<\/p>\n

Titles and subheadings should be bold, but not in all caps.<\/p>\n

Keywords should appear on the same line as the subheading, separated by commas, and start with a capital letter.<\/p>\n

V. Paper Validation Process<\/strong>
\nOnce your paper is submitted, it will undergo a Scientific Commission Review by university professors. You will receive an email with one of the following outcomes:<\/p>\n

-Accepted by the Scientific Commission: Your paper is validated and will move to the next stage.<\/p>\n

-Rejected by the Scientific Commission: Your paper will not proceed. The email will include the reasons for rejection.<\/p>\n

-Requires Revision: If your submission needs adjustments, you will be contacted by our team with the required changes. You must make these revisions within 72 hours or risk disqualification.<\/p>\n

If your paper is accepted for presentation, the Scientific Department will notify you by email. If you need further information, please contact the Scientific Department at asmbsv@gmail.com<\/p>\n

VI. Presentation Rules<\/strong><\/p>\n

The presentation of the paper can be done in either English or Romanian.<\/p>\n

Oral Presentation:
\n-Your presentation must be in .ppt format. Other formats will not be accepted. Submit the file using the method indicated in your acceptance email.<\/p>\n

-You have 7 minutes for the presentation, followed by 2 minutes for questions from the jury. Points will be deducted for exceeding the time limit: 1 point for every 30 seconds over the time limit.<\/p>\n

-Suggested slide structure (number of slides is approximate):<\/p>\n

-Title Slide: Title, Author(s), Coordinator(s), Affiliations, Diagnosis logo<\/p>\n

-Introduction (1-2 slides)<\/p>\n

-Intermediate slides (up to 10 slides):<\/p>\n

-Materials and Methods<\/p>\n

-Results<\/p>\n

-Discussions<\/p>\n

-Conclusions (1-2 slides)<\/p>\n

-References (1 slide)<\/p>\n

Poster Presentation:
\n-Your poster must be in A1 format (594 x 841 mm, portrait orientation), submitted as a .jpg file using the method in your acceptance email.<\/p>\n

-The poster must be printed and brought to the event in the specified dimensions. Leave the poster at the desk during check-in.<\/p>\n

-You will have 5 minutes to present, followed by 2 minutes for questions. Exceeding the time limit will result in point deductions as outlined for Oral Presentations.<\/p>\n

VII. Publication<\/strong>
\nYour abstract will be published in the Diagnosis Abstract Book, available on our website after the congress.<\/p>\n

IMPORTANT:
\nWe may make minor formatting changes to your abstract for publication purposes, including adjustments to font type, size, spacing, or English grammar, but the content will remain unchanged.<\/p>\n
